GA4 + GSC consolidation tools: comparison, pricing and free trials

Four families of tools, from €0 to several hundred euros a month, and the grid for choosing by budget and by source

The essentials

  • Four families: free Google tools, connectors for Looker Studio, SEO suites, all-in-one marketing platforms.
  • 2026 pricing: €0 (native, Looker Studio), €15 to €100 per connector, €100 to €500 for an SEO suite, €0 to €200 for a small-business platform.
  • The hidden criterion: build and maintenance time, often greater than the licence cost.
  • Test first: most tools offer a free trial; judge them on your own data.

Consolidating GA4 and Search Console means showing on one screen what Google sees of your site before the click and what your visitors do after it. The market offers dozens of tools for that, from a free link to a suite costing several hundred euros a month. This comparison sorts them into four families, with the prices observed in 2026 and a grid for choosing. It complements our guide connecting GA4 and Search Console in a dashboard.

Family 1: the free Google tools

ToolWhat it doesLimitsCost

Looker StudioBespoke dashboards, blending by pageBuilding, API quotas, maintenance, no alerts€0 (internal time)
BigQueryRaw GA4 and Search Console data with no limit and no samplingSQL, data skillsA few euros a month for a small business

These tools are enough for a company with someone comfortable with data and the time to spend. The detail is in Looker Studio for GA4 and GSC.

Family 2: third-party connectors for Looker Studio

Vendors (Supermetrics, Funnel, Windsor.ai, Porter Metrics and others) sell connectors that bring into Looker Studio the sources Google doesn't supply (Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, CRM, email) and sometimes improved versions of the GA4 and Search Console connectors (caching, no quota). Pricing : €15 to €100 a month per connector, or €100 to €400 a month as a bundle. Who for : teams already using Looker Studio who want to add the social ad platforms without changing tool. The list is in the best Looker Studio connectors.

Family 3: the SEO suites

Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, Moz and their equivalents connect to Search Console and, for some, to GA4, and add their own data: rank tracking on chosen keywords, backlinks, technical audits, competitive analysis. Pricing : €100 to €500 a month depending on the plan. Who for : companies and agencies whose main channel is SEO and who need competitive data. Limit : consolidation with GA4 stays basic (organic traffic, rarely conversions), and the other channels (advertising, social, the Google listing) aren't covered. Our comparison GreenRed vs Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz and HubSpot sets out those scopes.

Family 4: all-in-one marketing platforms

These platforms connect to GA4, to Search Console and to a small business's other sources (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, the Google listing, sometimes the generative AI engines) and supply ready-made dashboards, alerts and a prioritised action plan. Pricing : from €0 (limited free plans) to €200 a month for a small business, more for multi-client agencies with white labelling. Who for : small businesses with no data profile, and agencies wanting client reporting with no building. Limit : a fixed layout, and less deep competitive SEO data than a specialist suite. GreenRed belongs to this family; its scope is described in the complete GreenRed guide.

How to choose

  1. Count your sources. GA4 and Search Console only: the Google tools are enough. Four sources or more: a platform or connectors.
  2. Assess your skills and your time. Nobody to build and maintain it: a platform. A data profile: Looker Studio, possibly BigQuery.
  3. Identify your main channel. SEO dominant with strong competition: an SEO suite as a complement. A mix of channels: a platform.
  4. Calculate the full cost : licences + build time + maintenance over 12 months. The trade-off is covered in building your dashboards in-house or outsourcing them.
  5. Test it on your data. Most tools offer a free trial of 7 to 30 days or a permanent free plan. Connect your real accounts and check the figures match what you see in GA4 and Search Console.
Our advice: during the trial, test the only thing that counts: can you find in under two minutes which pages convert and which queries they rank on? If so, the tool is doing its job. If not, change.

How GreenRed helps

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free tool for consolidating GA4 and Search Console?

Yes, two: the native link in GA4, which adds two Search Console reports alongside the GA4 metrics, and Looker Studio, which lets you build a dashboard blending the two sources by page. The first takes five minutes but isn't customisable, the second takes a few hours to build.

How much does a marketing consolidation tool cost for a small business?

From €0 to €200 a month for an all-in-one platform suited to small businesses, €15 to €100 per connector to enrich Looker Studio, €100 to €500 a month for an SEO suite. Add internal build and maintenance time for the solutions you assemble yourself.

Does an SEO suite like Semrush replace a GA4 + GSC dashboard?

Partly. SEO suites make good use of Search Console and add competitive data, but their GA4 integration is often limited to organic traffic, without conversions, and they don't cover advertising, social media or the Google listing. They complement an overall dashboard more than they replace it.

How do you test a consolidation tool before paying?

Use the free trial or the free plan, connect your real GA4 and Search Console accounts, and check three things: the figures match those in the Google tools (within 10%), you can find your converting pages and their queries in two minutes, and the alerts work. Avoid demos on fictional data.

Test GA4 + Search Console consolidation on your own data

GreenRed connects your Google accounts in a few minutes and shows your converting pages with their queries. Free plan, no card required.
